About

WIC (Workcover Industry Classification) Codes are used in Australia to track the relevant industry/occupation assigned to a client or a job and the associated workcover insurance premium cost.

The legislation varies significantly in each Australian state and it is important that you fully understand how workcover premiums are calculated for your business.

How to Use

From the main menu click on the System and Set Up links and then select the WIC Code Editor.

From here, you are shown a list of all of the WIC Codes & Rates for each entity in your PinvoiceR system.

*** Note ***

For existing clients that had WIC Codes set at billing location/pay code level previously you will see a button - Add From Transactions and this is used to bring in the WIC codes and rates that have previously been used in your system. You only need to do this once
